LAMAYURU TO DERCHA TREK

The trek from Lamayuru to Darcha through the Zanskar Valley is renowned as the most scenic and extensive trek in Ladakh. Commencing in Lamayuru, the route traverses the Zanskar Valley, passing through Wanla and some of the most isolated villages, including Lingshed. On the ninth and tenth days, trekkers arrive at Hanamur or Pishu, following a path that leads to the Karsha Monastery and the administrative town of Padum in the Zanskar Valley. After a day of rest in Padum, the journey continues towards Darcha, incorporating a visit to the Phuktal Monastery and crossing high passes such as Shikun La at 5,100 meters. The trek concludes in Darcha village, located in the Lahul and Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, approximately 145 kilometers from Manali.

Day 02: Acclimatization at Leh.
Day 03: Sightseeing of Leh town.
Day 04: Leh to Lamayuru Sham valley. (120 kms)
Day 05: Trek from Lamayuru to Wanla. (3 - 4 hrs)
Day 06: Trek from Wanla to Hanupatta (6 hrs trek)
Day 07: Trek from Hanupatta to Photoskar 4850 mtrs (Mtrs 6/7 hrs.)
Day 08: Trek from Photoskar to Base of Singge La (7- 8 hrs trek)
Day 09: Trek from Base of Singge-La Pass to Lingshed (5090 Mtrs 5hrs)
Day 10: Trek from Lingshed village to Snertse (4950 Mtrs 7/8hrs)
Day 11: Trek from Snertse to Hanumil (3950 Mtrs 5/6 hrs.)
Day 12: Trek from Hanumil to Pishu (Mtrs 4/5hrs)
Day 13: Trek from Pishu to Karsha (Mtrs 4/5hrs)

Day 25: Dercha to Leh by Jeep.
Day 26: Free day at Leh.
Day 27: Leh to Delhi by flight.
